Biggz - Plays: R&B and Hip-Hop
Biggz, from an early age, always had a love for music and his interest in playing music came at the age of 13. While in elementary school, he would often volunteer to play afternoon dances for free. He used his collection of CD’s and tapes and without a mixer, he used volume control on the pre-amp to mix between the two. Upon entering high school he decided to end his run with Infinite Sound Crew and join Renegade Squad. It was at this point that Renegade Squad decided to designate each individual member a particular genre of music to play. Biggz became Renegade Squad’s R&B and Hip Hop DJ. Since he was just starting from scratch, it was up to him to find his own equipment. He worked two jobs to come up with the money to buy his first set of turntables and a mixer. This began the start of his studio. To date, a lot of work has come out of his studio including the production of various mixed CD’s and demos. The purchase of his first set-up was essential as he was now able to practice on his own and put his record collection into full use. With a collection of records from all over the world, he was able to cater to all audiences. With hard work and dedication Biggz was able to learn the basics with which he has built upon as the years have passed. |

He also started his own collection of records from the ones his brother was able to collect. From his early learning he quickly grasped the fundamentals of spinning music, and began to focus on reggae and soca. With the knowledge he gained he was able to teach the other members of Renegade Squad the basic principals of mixing and scratching which helped with their early stages of development. As time progressed, he picked up the skill of emceeing from his brother and filled in when he was needed. Kaiso King has been able to host all types of events and has successfully managed to become one of the most versatile members of Renegade Squad. |
